Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
At each International Annual EurOMA Conference, an Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held to approve the previous year's accounts and any new decisions brought forward by the Board. All current EurOMA members are invited to attend and participate in the AGM. Every member present has one vote. Votes by proxy are possible (for current members only), but must be in writing. Decisions are carried by a simple majority of the vote count.
The EurOMA AGM serves as the main forum for the Board to communicate recent developments and decisions to the membership, as well as for EurOMA members to ask questions, voice their opinions, offer suggestions and help determine the future of their association.
The results of the annual EurOMA Elections (conducted by electronic voting as of 2012) are announced by the EurOMA President at the AGM. The newly-elected EurOMA Board Members begin their terms immediately after the adjournment of the AGM.
[See the EurOMA Governance Elections page for more information and recent election results, as well as the Election Announcements page (for Members only) to find out more about the nominated Candidates.]
