In 2000, EurOMA, POMS and JSPM agreed to join their efforts in the Operations Management field by co-organizing a World Conference every four years, the venue alternatiing between Europe, America and Asia. The first two successful Joint World Conferences were POM Sevilla 2000 in Spain, and OM Cancun 2004 in Mexico.
